Bologna is a major railway hub, with frequent connections from across Italy and abroad. If you arrive at Bologna Centrale station, you can reach Aula Prodi in about 30 minutes on foot, walking through the historic city centre, or in around 20 minutes by public transport. Bus lines 30, 25, 11 and 27, as well as shuttle services A and B, connect the station to the city centre. Additionally, a taxi stand is available just outside the station.

If you arrive at Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport, you can take the Marconi Express to reach the city centre; the train stops at Bologna Centrale station, where you can then connect to other forms of public transport. For schedules and ticket information, please visit: www.marconiexpress.it/en/

The historic centre of Bologna is a restricted traffic area (ZTL). We recommend using parking facilities outside the city centre or park-and-ride options, then continuing by public transport or on foot.

The two most convenient parking options are: Piazza VIII Agosto – APCOA Bologna - Piazza VIII Agosto and Ex Staveco Parking – Parcheggio Ex Staveco Bologna.

Several urban bus lines serve the city centre and the area around Aula Prodi. For more information on routes and timetables, you can check Google Maps or the local transport company, TPER Bologna – https://www.tper.it/ .

Tickets can be purchased in tobacco shops (tabaccherie) for €2.30, or directly on the bus for €2.50 in coins, or €2.30 using a credit/debit card.
